Metal Carports

Custom steel carports, built for your vehicles

Affordable, durable cover for cars, trucks, RVs, and boats — engineered to your local wind and snow loads and installed by our own crews, anywhere in the U.S.

Overview

More than a cover — a real steel structure

A CG Steel carport isn't a flimsy kit. Each one is built from rust-resistant tubular steel framing and screwed-down (or optional standing-seam) panels, then anchored to handle the wind that comes with open structures. Whether you need to keep one car out of the sun or shelter an RV, a boat, and a workbench, we size the frame, leg height, and roof style around exactly what you're parking under it.

Open carports go up fast and cost the least. Need more protection? Add gable ends, partial or full side panels, or a closed back wall and you've got a structure that's halfway to a garage — and you can always enclose it later.

Carport FAQs

Good to know

What sizes do metal carports come in?

Standard widths run from 12 ft (single) to 24 ft (double) and up to 30+ ft for triple-wide, with custom lengths and leg heights from 6–14 ft. We size every carport to your vehicles and site.

Do I need a concrete slab?

No. Carports can anchor to a concrete slab, asphalt, or directly to the ground with rebar or mobile-home anchors. We recommend the right anchor system for your surface and local wind load.

Are metal carports permanent and code-rated?

Yes. We engineer carports to your local wind and snow loads and provide certified/stamped drawings where your jurisdiction requires a permit.

Can I enclose a carport later?

Absolutely. Many customers start open and add side panels, end walls, and doors down the road. Tell us your plans and we'll spec a frame that's easy to enclose.
